  • Improved Call Summaries feature
    Based on feedback received, the Call summaries feature has been improved. A new AI model has been implemented and the prompting has been adjusted. As a result, the summaries are now not only more accurate, but also better reflect, for example, the agreements made, follow-up actions, and names.
  • AI settings is now Intelligence
    The AI features automatic call transcriptions and call summaries were previously found under AI settings. As of today, the module has a new name in the portal: Intelligence!

  • Have you connected your telephony to your CRM system through our CRM integration? The integration now also supports automatic call summaries (beta). This saves you time and keeps everything ordered by automatically summarising each call and adding it to your CRM. Learn more on our help pages

  • Contacts saved in your webphone or app will now also appear on your desk phone when you get a call.

  Handy tip: import all your contacts at once through the portal. They’ll show up on all your devices instantly.

  This way, you can see who’s calling no matter which phone you answer, and you won’t have to add contacts to your desk phone one by one.

   

  • From transcription to summary: the Call Summaries feature automatically captures the key points of a conversation. This allows you to find and share information more quickly — without having to write the summary yourself.

  • Version Control for Dial Plans – Have you ever changed or accidentally deleted something in your dial plan, only to find your telephony suddenly not working as expected? While it was always possible to quickly edit a dial plan, you can now also restore previous versions — up to nine versions back! This new version control feature lets you make changes with confidence, knowing you can easily revert if needed.

  • UUID for API integrations easier to find – Are you getting started with APIs and want to integrate our software with other applications? For example call transcription to your CRM system? Then you need a UUID (Universally Unique Identifier). This code used to be hard to find in our platform but we have changed that. From now on, you will find the UUID under Personal settings.

• May 2025

  • Filters in call groups – Want to know which call group(s) a VoIP account or User is part of? From now on, it is possible to filter by VoIP account and/or User in the Call group module. This allows you to see exactly to which call group(s) the VoIP account or User in question is added.

• April 2025

  • Users in a call group of a queue who have set their status to offline, Do Not Disturb (DND), or only available for colleagues are no longer counted in the queue. If all users in the call group have one of these statuses, the queue step is completely skipped and moves directly to the step “Max. size or time exceeded.” This means the caller no longer has to wait for the set queue time to expire.

   

  • The transcription capability for call recordings using privacy-friendly AI is now live. These transcripts can be used to record discussions in your CRM system or as training materials. The feature is free to use during the beta period and can be enabled by going to AI settings in the portal. Turn on feature Call Recording and then the Call Transcription. Want to know more?   Voicemail messages are now transcribed more accurately. Previously, some parts might have been missing at the beginning or end of the transcription, but these issues have now been resolved. Transcriptions are now as complete and precise as possible. However, please be aware that a small margin of error remains, particularly with complex names.

  We’ve made it even easier to manage your contacts! From now on, you can upload your Google Contacts file directly into the portal. This means faster calling via the app and Webphone, plus simpler and smarter number recognition. No more manual adding—just effortless communication at your fingertips.

• October 2024

  • Improved User Status – Previously, if you selected a desk phone as your destination in your User and made calls using your mobile app or webphone, your status would remain as ‘available’. This has changed: in these cases, your status will now correctly display as ‘busy’.

  • New Languages Available – Spanish and Portuguese language: Our platform is now available in Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to Dutch, English, German, and French. You can select the language in the settings. The mobile app and web phone will also be available in Spanish and Portuguese later on.

• September 2024

  • Caller Insights – With our new number lookup feature, you’ll always see exactly who’s calling on your webphone, app, or landline. It helps you identify the company even if the number isn’t saved in your contacts. Quite handy, right?

• August 2024

  • Queue statistics via URL sharing -It is already possible to share/stream queue statistics, so that this is visible on a large screen. For this you currently still have to log in via the portal. This will soon be possible via a URL link. Very convenient.

• July 2024

  • Turning off voicemail transcription – Since May, we’ve enhanced our service to send voicemail messages directly to your email in transcription alongside the audio file. If you prefer not to receive the recorded message as transcribed text, you can now easily disable this feature.
  • Waiting time when exporting call list – Want to know how long it takes to get an interview? Good news! This statistic is now added when exporting your call list.

• June 2024

  • Browser extension Click-and-Call – Due to new Google Chrome guidelines, we are forced to strip down the browser extension to one that focuses entirely on Click-and-Call. The extension recognizes phone numbers in your browser, after which a call appears behind the number. Click it and your VoIP phone, webphone, mobile app or other soft client automatically dials the phone number. Features from earlier versions of the browser extension, such as Queue Status, Reachability Management and Colleague Status, are of course still available in the webphone, mobile app and portal.

  • Voicemail-to-text – Listening to your voicemails is not always the most efficient way to get back to the caller in question as quickly as possible. Sometimes the recorded message is hard to hear, or you have to listen to the voicemail again to make note of the information. We’ve thought of something for that: voicemail-to-text. The recorded message is automatically converted to text and sent to your e-mail, together with the sound file. Of course, this is done in a privacy-friendly way.
    Would you rather not receive a transcript? Soon you will also be able to turn this option off in the Voicemail module.

• March 2024

  • Information shared contacts visible on mobile calls – Contact information from the shared contacts list is now also available on incoming calls to your 06 number. Imagine: you have a contact in the shared list of the webphone and mobile app, and this person calls your cell phone number. Then your smartphone displays the contact information of the shared contact.
  • Statistics in portal shown real-time – Statistics in portal are now shown real-time. Previously they were updated daily and now they are always up-to-date. So you have insight into your telephony statistics at any time.

• February 2024

  • New user status: available only to colleagues – Sometimes you are not available to customers for a while, but you want to be for colleagues. This is now possible. We have added a new availability status to the User: available only for colleagues.
  • User status visible in portal – From now on the status of users is also visible in the portal. This allows users to see the status of colleagues at a glance, even if they are not using the mobile app or webphone.
  • Names of shared contacts in recent calls list – In the call history of the mobile app, you can now see the names of shared contacts. Previously, we only showed the phone number of the contact. With this update, you know exactly who was called, which is very personal.
  • Outgoing phone number description – It was already possible to select which phone number you want to call out with. From now on, the description of the relevant calling plan of the phone numbers is also visible in the Voys Webphone, so you can see at a glance which number belongs to which.

  • Call control: taking calls via headset – From now on you can use certain headsets to control your calls within the webphone. Think of answering calls, putting calls on hold and (un)muting yourself. Find out which headsets are suitable on our help page.

• December 2023

  • Description outgoing number Voys App – It was already possible in the Voys App to select which phone number you want to call out with. From now on, the description of the relevant calling plan of the phone numbers is also visible, so you can see at a glance which number belongs to which. This is useful when you use multiple phone numbers. Does your calling plan have no description? Then we will add the description of the phone number.

• November 2023

  • Change or remove shared contacts in app – Want to change or remove a contact from your shared contacts list in the Voys App? This is now possible. Super convenient, this way the contact list of you and your colleagues is always up to date. You can find the shared contacts on the contacts page under the ‘Shared’ tab.
  • Add shared contacts in app – Your business shared contacts are visible to your colleagues in both the webphone and the mobile app. From now on you can also create shared contacts in the app, this was already possible in the webphone. Soon you will also be able to edit and delete contacts in the app.
  • Queue statistics interface – The queue statistics interface has been improved. The statistics have remained the same, but are now displayed with a donut chart. This gives you a clearer overview of the availability status of your colleagues.
  • Deactivated VoIP accounts – VoIP accounts that are deactivated are not in use on a device. In other words, they cannot be reached. As of now, these VoIP accounts are no longer visible in the app and webphone. This is convenient for the overview of your contact list. Of course, you can still see and reactivate them in the portal.

  • Notification unstable call quality – From now on, we will measure the quality of your calls while calling through the app. Is your connection not stable? Then we’ll send you a notification to let you know. At a later time, we’ll let you know directly in the app what you can best do to improve your connection.
  • Change in call recording – Do you use the option to record your phone calls? We’ve made a change to this. From now on, all calls that are put on hold will no longer be recorded. This way you only record the calls that really matter: the substantive conversations with your customer.

• September 2023

  • Phone number app description: It was already possible in the app to select which phone number you want to call out with. The description of numbers is now also visible, so you can see at a glance which number belongs to which. You can add a description in the portal under Manage > Phone Number.
  • Microsoft Teams module added: Did you know that our VoIP platform can be perfectly linked to Microsoft Teams? With the usual fixed-line number, relations can be called and you can make optimal use of all useful functionalities. From now on, you can find the module directly under Manage > Integration.
  • Internal calls: Everyone calls a colleague from time to time; this is also called an internal call. From now on it is possible to use an internal number per colleague instead of the internal number of the phone. So it no longer matters which device your colleague uses to call, from now on you can always use the same internal phone number.
  • Synchronization status User: The status of the User (available, do not disturb or offline) is from now on synchronized between the Voys App, Webphone and desk phone. If you change the User’s status, it is now up-to-date on all devices. So your colleagues know exactly if you are available or not.

  • Outgoing number webphone: Your outgoing number is the number you call and that the caller sees on the display. Do you have multiple numbers? You can now easily change your outgoing number in the webphone.
  • Opening Hours | Basic: Have you set up a calling plan with the Opening Hours | Basic module? Sometimes you just want to check what times you have set. From now on you can see the set times directly in your calling plan. How convenient!
  • Webphone interface: Just like the app, certain parts of the webphone have been given a new look. You can now more easily adjust your accessibility and change your settings.
  • Notifications Freedom: Is there anything new in Freedom? From now on, we’ll keep you informed about it within the portal. In the brand new notification center in Freedom, you’ll see exactly what updates we recently made. Soon you will also see these notifications in the Voys App and Webphone.
  • Prioritize queues: From now on it is possible to prioritize queues. Suppose you have an emergency line and a phone number for support. There is a queue set up for both numbers. With the new priority option you set that the caller in the queue for the emergency line will be helped faster.
  • Call Group: The call method Random Order of Ringing in the call group has been replaced by something smarter: Voys Reach. You don’t have to do anything for this: we’ve automatically converted your calling method for you.

• July 2023

  • German and French language: The Voys App, Webphone and telephony platform Freedom are now available in French and German in addition to Dutch and English. The app automatically adopts the language setting of your phone, in Freedom and the webphone you select the language in the settings.
  • Shared contacts: From now on, your business contacts in the Webphone are not only shared with your colleagues who also use the Webphone, but also with your contact book in the Voys App! You will find the shared contacts in a new tab on the contacts page.
  • Voys App – Reachability: You can set your reachability not only in Freedom, but also in the Voys Webphone and App. In the app, setting your reachability has been given a new look, making it even easier now. Soon the new look will also follow in the webphone.
  • Voys App – Phone number selection: It is now even easier in the Voys App to select which phone number you are calling out with. Soon we will also implement this improvement in the Webphone.
  • Queue Statistics – Queue Selection: Selecting the queue whose statistics you want to see has become clearer. We have added the description and internal number of the queue, so that you immediately know from which queue you see the statistics.
  • Queue statistics – New statistic: We have added a new statistic to the queue: the waiting time of the next caller. This way you know exactly how long the caller is waiting. We are working on optimizing this option, which is why you see a beta label.
  • Voys Reach: Call a customer and they don’t answer? If the customer calls back, chances are he or she wants to speak to you. That’s why outbound calls that are not recorded are now included within Voys Reach.

  • Webphone: From now on you will always use the latest version of the Webphone. No need to update manually, the Webphone does that automatically when you are inactive for a while or log in again.

  • Opening hours | Basic: this lets you easily set when your business is open or closed. Also, with this new feature you arrange the opening hours around the holidays once, you don’t have to do this every year. Handy!
    You set this module in the Freedom portal or in the Voys App. Later this option will follow in the Webphone.

  • Voys Pulse: this allows you to see at a glance the status of your colleagues: are they available or not? In both the App for your smartphone and the Webphone you can easily check the online status of your colleagues.

  • Freedom: In the call list, a button has been added that allows you to directly copy a call preview in the correct format. This is useful when examples are needed to answer your support question.
  • Freedom: Help texts have been added to the modules phone numbers, choice menu, fixed/mobile, call plan and voicemail. This makes it even easier to find your way around Freedom.

  • Freedom: As of Monday, October 3, the call plan edit mode is live! This makes it even easier to adjust your calling plan.

  • Freedom: If you call one of our customer happiness colleagues, we may ask you for a support code. We do this to ensure your safety as a customer.

  • Freedom: Do you get more frequent calls from the same customer? Then you can now activate smart ring order in the call group. If the customer calls back within 48 hours, we will try to connect them to the same colleague they spoke with earlier. Handy!
  • Voys app: It is now possible to add a tab to the ‘Recent calls’ area in the app. In it you can also show recent calls from the rest of your organization. Turn it on in the settings of your Voys app.
  • Voys app: From now on it is possible to select the phone number you call out with in the Voys app. Do you have multiple numbers with us? Then from now on you can select which phone number will be displayed for each outgoing call to the person you are calling.

  • How do you arrange this? In the Voys App, go to ‘Settings’ and then to ‘Account information’. Here you will find the option ‘Customize the outgoing number’. The drop-down menu will then immediately show the phone numbers to select.

  Voys App: On July 19, the new version of the Voys App for your smartphone went live.

  • In this version, it is also possible for iOS to display the Variable Caller Name so you know which number you are being called at. This was already possible in the Android version.
  • Also, the missed and recent calls list is instantly loaded, making the app feel a lot faster.
  • Want to let people know what you think of the app? After about every twenty calls, you can give a star rating which directly helps our developers to further develop the app.

  • Freedom: With a new download button, it is now possible to easily download previously uploaded sound files.
  • Freedom: Do you have multiple companies? Then you can name your company name in your calling plan under ‘Variable announcement’. This way, before you speak to the customer, you will hear which company is being called and you can answer with the correct company name. If the sound in which the company name is mentioned stops, that’s when the customer hears you and starts the phone call.

  • Integration Freedom: Bubble, that’s the name of the new CRM integration between Red Cactus and Voys. With this integration you link your CRM system to Voys’ telephony.

  • Freedom: Do you ever manually copy your VoIP account login information? That’s pretty error-prone. From now on, you can copy the credentials of your VoIP or trunk account by pressing the copy button. It becomes visible when you hover your mouse over the credentials.
  • Freedom: From now on, when adding a new sound, voicemail or message, the microphone will not be activated until you click ‘Record a new sound’.
  • Freedom: The various dropdown menus in the telephony platform are now all the same. Nice and clear!
