Looking for the Best VoIP Provider in KwaZulu-Natal?

Ja, you’ve come to the right place.

Whether you’re herding tourists in Durban, running a sugar cane empire in the Midlands, or working remotely from your surfboard in Ballito — Voys has your back with flexible, cost-saving VoIP solutions that actually work.

Why VoIP in KwaZulu-Natal Just Makes Sense

Life moves fast in KZN. But whether you’re in a high-rise in Umhlanga or a braai hut in Margate, your business phone system shouldn’t slow you down.

Here’s why more KZN businesses are ditching landlines and going VoIP:

  • Save up to 60% on calls (more money for bunny chows and surf wax)

  • Work from anywhere — even the back of a bakkie with Wi-Fi

  • Run your entire phone system online

  • Cool features like voicemail-to-email, call routing, and virtual receptionists (no receptionist? No problem!)

How Does VoIP Work for a Sugar Cane Farmer?

Glad you asked.

Picture this: You’re checking on the crops in Eston, but a supplier calls. With VoIP, you answer on your cellphone, transfer the call to your office in Durban, and still make it to your kid’s cricket match.

Same goes if you’re a surf guide, guesthouse owner, or remote consultant — as long as you’ve got internet, your office is wherever you are.

Frequently asked questions

  • Certainly! Forwarding calls from your fixed phone to your cell phone is a fantastic feature, especially for those on the go. With Voys, managing call forwarding is a breeze through Freedom, our cloud-based phone system. You can easily route all incoming calls to your cell phone. Plus, if you need a business telephone number, we’ve got you covered too!

  • Your phone number is an asset. Move your number to Voys (We’ll deal with Telkom).

How does it work at voys

    • Complete the online ‘Keep your Number’-form. It will generate text for a number porting mandate that will be mailed to you by your Voys contact person. You can print this mandate on your business letterhead and email it to us together with a recent invoice from your current provider, and a copy of the ID of the telephone account holder.
    • We’ll then submit the request on your behalf.
    • After submitting your request, we need to be patient. It can take up to 10 workdays to receive approval from your current provider. Your number will remain available in the meantime.
    • Once we have approval from your current provider, we will contact you to coördinate your preferred porting date.
    • On the day your number is moved over we will test it to ensure that your number is working correctly and will be the first to call on your new phone system.
  • No time at all! After some (RICA) paperwork is out of your way. We can set up your Voys phone system in one workday. Do you require VoIP phones too? Add an extra day for shipping.

Call us on 021 012 5000 between 9AM-5PM (Mo-Fri) or send us a contact request, we respond within 24 hours on weekdays.
