Hi there Bart, what do you do at Voys?
Anything that has to do with data and making it useful for the company: collecting it from systems, analyzing it, transforming it into useable information, architecting, building and operating the data warehouse & data warehouse automation, building reports & dashboards, advising teams on using metrics, machine learning, etc.

Allright, and why do you like working here?
I work at Voys because this organization manages to really empower everybody who works here. I’ve never worked in an organization that is so clearly driven by purpose and values (e.g. trust, equality, integrity, ownership, transparency, autonomy). This really works.

How do you spend your free time?
In my free time you can find me in the kitchen preparing meals or pastries, playing music (cello/piano), or trying to keep myself fit, running. Next to that I also chair the village energy cooperation and I accompany football matches as a referee for the local soccer club.

Last question: for what can we wake you up in the middle of the night?
Lobster and good wine (life’s too short for bad wine!).
